Director

Dr. Reynolds is a Registered Clinical Psychologist, an Associate Professor and the Director of Clinical Training in the Department of Psychology at the University of Manitoba, and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. She is the Director of the Health Information Exchange Laboratory where she supervises undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral students in the completion of their research. She is a Research Affiliate with the Centre on Aging and a Scientist with the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba.

She is an Associate Editor for Qualitative Health Research and Review Editor for Frontiers in Health Services. Dr. Reynolds is also passionate about the field of mental health and clinical psychology and is a member of the UM Task Force on Mental Health and Well-being.

Her areas of research and clinical interest and expertise include knowledge translation, mental health literacy, community mental health, mental health service use, health psychology, perinatal mental health, gero-psychology, and long-term care. Dr. Reynolds’ work focuses on partner engagement and community collaborations. She received the University of Manitoba Community Engagement Award (2020).

Dr. Reynolds holds funding from the Government of Canada Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba, and the University of Manitoba. She has received funding from Research Manitoba, Government of Canada Department of National Defense, University of Manitoba Centre for Healthcare Innovation, University of Manitoba Centre on Aging, and the University of Manitoba Research Grants Program.
